HI First the timing belt does not make a screeching sound. The only thing the timing belt drives is the oil pump and the cam. BUT it does have an adjustment/tenisoner pulley that can make a screeching sound. If you are getting coolant inside the car then you have a bad heater core. Also any of the belts on the front of the motor can slip or be out of adjustment and cause a screeching sound when they slip as well as they have an idler pulley that can go bad and screech. take a piece of hose say 3 ft long put one end to your ear and move the other end around the motor you should be able to hear exactly where the noise/screeching is coming from.
good luck

If coolant is blowing into the car you've either got a leaking hose under the hood and it's getting sucked in through the fresh air intake or your heater core is leaking. If you have belt noise, read these posts on how to diagnose the cause

my first guess would be the compressor is bad ..
Happy thanksgiving yall....
I have a 1999 dodge durango. It's been giving me problems with the heat...every time I put the heat or ac on it doesn't do a thing and all the coolant blows in the car...also, the belt will make a loud long screeching voice...I've replaced the timing belt twice and it stills giving me a hard time..what do you think could be wrong?
