If the tap you used was the incorrect thread-pitch (threads per inch)
Who is we? Apparently, something got buggered up in the process, didn't it? You can't just retap the whole, it needs to have a helicoil installed. What happened to all the shreds of metal that came off?
That would be a 14mm. Is that what you used?
It is the wrong thread.
We re-threaded the spark plug hole now that's that is done we tried putting the spark plug back in and it won't go in why?
