Someone stole something from my car?

Sas lots of people don't know anything about cars, that's why the stealerships, garages and lube shops make a killing. That being said, many mechanics don't know anything about cars either and we call them "parts changers" which means they change everything one at a time until the problem is fixed.... that's why the people that don't know anything about cars get the huge bills

When you say its "messed up and won't work" I am not sure if you mean it won't start/drive but if that's the case it might make it tough to go somewhere.

It is difficult to give you a good answer but if it's your grandpa's favorite thing it might give him something to keep his mind elsewhere for a bit.

Good luck

Just take it to a shop like Midas and get it figure out and go from there, no need to get grandpa into it yet. They'll tell you for free and then go from there.

#1. When things are stolen from a car you have to file a police report immediately or your comprehensive insurance will not pay the claim.

If you have no clue what was stolen, do you have some master-plan what to buy for parts. Take the car to a Ford Dealer. Do not let Midass touch your car.

More than likely your catalytic converter a lot of people steal them

At least he'll be busy with your car and wont be depressed . Just tell your grandpa if he can help you . Keep him busy .

Uhh

if you dont know anything about cars, why are you driving them.

Someone stole something from like the bottom of my car so it's messed up and won't work but I don't know anything about cars I have a Ford explorer if I go somewhere and point will they know what got stolen? I'm 16 so will they let me get it replaced if they can? Or should I bring my grandpa? He knows about cars that's his favorite subject but he's depressed so I really don't want to bother him at all.
