Depends on the profile and rolling circumference
With any 4x4 it is a good idea to have the same size and make of tyres on all 4 wheels at the same time or you can get transmission damage.
Transmission wind up can cause all sorts of damage. It is not an issue on soft stuff but on anything hard the results can be very damaging.
Larger tires travel further per rotation (but don't have as much power). I don't think that the slight change in diameter would damage the 4wd.
When you run it in 4WD you are going to kill it. You never run different sized tires on a 4WD no matter how small of a difference they are.
if all 4 tires are 15 inch then it should not hurt nothing ! but if the truck don,t sit level then it can throw the 4 wheel drive off ! your better off to run the same size all away around the truck !
Yup, you are looking at a very distinct possibility of damaging your transfer case. Don't risk it.
There really isn't enough difference between those two sizes to bother anything.
Thanks a buddy of mine said it could mess up the 4wd so I weren't sure
My truck has 245s on the front tires and 255s on the rear could there end up to being problems with the 4wd or any other problems I need to be aware of?
