Should i apply to work at Jiffy lube?

You're are just the kind of person that Jiffy Lube has working for them. Someone that doesn't have a clue how to repair cars!! Next they will teach you how to charge for repairs you don't have to do. Jiffy Lube is one of the biggest rip off joints and has been under investigation since 2003 for not doing work they charge customers for.

Go for it, most people who work there are noobs too. It cant be that hard to get the job. Just show up on time and be polite and the manager will like you working there.

If nothing else, you could get a job as an apprentice at a car dealership with that experience. A little schooling and you're off and running.

Now let's be clear....if you apply what's the most that could happen? Nothing. They'll simply look over your application, call you up for an interview and see what hours you can work and then hire you on the spot. Go for it dude.

The jiffy lube a couple blocks away is hiring part-time. I'm 19 years old and have never had a job before. Now lets be clear i don't plan on working there for the rest of my life, nor do i plan on being a full blown mechanic in the future. i just want to some extra cash and some part time work for a few months. I do however have a pretty good understanding on how to do oil changes, fluids, and rotations and feel that i would make a darn good employee if i were given a chance. I'm just wondering if they will hire a person like me without any prior work experience? any advice? former employees?
