Question regarding alignment on 2010 dodge charger?

You can put the stock rims on but you may want to ask the alignment guy to add a little bit more positive toe because you'll be putting the wrong wheels on. Really large wheels tend to ruin the way the car feels on the road because they have more rolling resistance, they're less compliant, and they change the scrub radius of the front suspension. This has the effect of pushing the front wheels backward into a bow legged position as the car is driven and brakes. If you preload them a bit with a touch of extra toe it helps reduce some of the negative effect.

Great question! The reason your shop of alignment choice couldn't align your car was the clamp-on alignment aiming bridges would not expand enough for your 22" wheels. Ask the dealer of your car IF they could do it!

Yes a four wheel alignment can be done with your stock wheels and tires.

Yes, you can temporarily reinstall the original rims and then have the alignment performed. Then reinstall the aftermarket 22's. The size of the rims will not affect the alignment.

I'm going to have to say "bullshyte" on this one... unless you've raised the truck and messed with the suspension. It is possible that they don't have the adapters to attach to your rims. Go to another shop.

Call around until you find am alignment shop who can align vehicles with aftermarket wheels.

yeah it should do the trick, its not the tires that are being aligned its actually the ...dam i forget the correct word for the part....its part of the whole axle assembly anyway. it might not be absolutely perfect but it shouldnt make a difference

yeah thatll work. if your tires are a little wider and or taller than stock, tell your alignment guy, he should know what to do. larger tires have more leverage

My local tire shop that I want to have my alignment done at can't do it because my after market rims are too big (they're 22's) so my question is, am I able to slap on my stocks and have the alignment done then put back on the after markets? Sorry if this is a noobish question I'm not too car savvy aha
