Clean out the blow back breather if putting the nozzle in AT THE CORRECT ANGLE doesn't help. (nozzle in and then 45 degrees pointing down (so actually following the tube and not pointing against it which is the instant blowback most beginners make)
Learn to fill a car up properly for gods sake.
What's happening is that back pressure makes the pump think your tank is full. As John suggests, try filling more slowly or slightly alter the position of the nozzle in the tank neck.
You need a new fuel filler and air vent pipe (one part). Your vent tube next to the filler pipe is plugged!
Now, when you try to fill the tank there is no place for the tank air pressure to go. Any auto parts store can get you a new fuel filler pipe. They cost around $75.00 and are easy to replace particularly on a truck.
None of the non-mechanics who answered your question knew how to repair the problem.
Try filling at a slower rate.
