Maybe the capacitor is bad? Does it start turning when you help it with a push using a pencil? But like the other reply said. Just get a new.
Hi it has burnt out it's windings so, you need a new one.
It wouldn't be cost-effective to fix.
well it does still have a light in it, so I would not call it useless until it stopped working.
My fan just stopped turning and spinning last night, no burning smell, no funny sounds, nothing. When plugged in it still lights up so I know it's getting power but it does nothing else. I took it apart and cleaned it but still no luck. Any way to fix it or is it garbage?
