Turn keys to "ON" position, but do not start the engine; dash lights must come on
The "Change Oil" light will flash five times
The “Change Oil” counter has now been reset.
The “Service Engine Soon” light is much smaller and above the RPM gauge. This is mechanical malfunction accompanied by OBD II codes. This has nothing to do with regular oil changes.
This sounds like your "service engine" warning light. It comes on about every 4500-5000 miles to remind you to get the oil changed. It needs to be manually reset after every oil change. Read your owner's manual, OR pick up a telephone and call the service rep at your local Chevy garage to find out how to reset the light.
When you sober up repost the question so the rest of us that are not drunk or stoned can understand what the hell you're talking about. And obtw a 2004 Silverado is pretty much junk so don't fall too deep in love with it, you'll be getting a divorce soon.
Reading the owners manual is a good start.
