Are you checking the oil when the engine is cold or warm? The only suggestion I can make is put a stop leak in there. You are not disclosing miles on the Honda, therefore a complete engine rebuild, if applicable may be cost preventative. Did you have the car checked over prior to purchase?
Follow Mark's advise. The only thing I would add would be to put a piece of cardboard under the vehicle and then you can get a idea of where to look on the engine.
Does it leak onto the ground, or onto the exhaust and burn? If you're losing oil definitely check it often. Keep it filled to the safe/full line marked on the dipstick. It may be a pain, but keeping it running will be cheaper. as opposed to replacing the engine/car.
Your car is definitely burning oil to much, my suggestion is that you just should buy the cheapest oil you can get, half synthetic. Never change the oil, only filter after like 20-30k km. Or just fix the leak, but its probably head gasket what is leaking oil into chamber where gas is exploding, so its quite expensive fix.
Soo I just bought a new car, well new to me. A 1994 Honda Accord. And we changed/refilled the oil about 2 months ago when we bought it. Now, the oil is very low. Maybe 2 centimeters high without running the engine. I can't afford a whole lot right now, should I just be topping off the oil every month or so while still changing my oil regularly? How can I do this as cheaply as possible until I can get a new car or fix this one? Trust me, I've lived with much more annoying car problems. Also, what happens if I drive my car when its low on oil but not completely gone?
