Being a Caddy, you are looking at 12-15,000 on oil changes with Synthetics. So, you have a long ways to go yet. When it gets down 10% remaining, you will need a plan. Some people prefer to change out the dirty filter only at 7500, then filter again & oil at 15,000. Synthetics do not wear out but the filters get clogged.
If your going by the oil life, chances are your either low on oil or out. Once it gets past a certain point, it can turn the CEL on
Sorry, but those 3.6L engines drink oil. If you checked the oil level you will find it either not on the dipstick or very low
5k miles should be the max
3500 miles or 3 months is the standard
it will probably say " change oil now "....or something like that.....I don't trust the electronic gadgets,....... I go by miles driven
