and you're going nowhere until you have coms with ALL modules
Work on that,
and change garages.
fuses are not the next step,
power and ground at the diagnostic socket has to be there,
that would be my first check.
If the socket doesn't have power/ground then thew diagnostic unit won't power on.
If there's power/ground at the socket then it's test for same at each module.
It's a logical progressive test sequence.
Bit of a long shot but whats the condition of the battery. If its on the way out the voltage may sink well below 12 volts when cold starting and the electronics don't like that very much and will start flagging up faults
Hi so reading this it has been poke and no hope which i would guess is because it has not gone to a dealer of the cars make.
hence the poor diagnostics to the real fault. secondly these cheap diagnostics end up costing more always.
this is not something to be messed with as your life and others depend on it working right.
If the battery and alternator are good, it sounds like a wiring or possibly ground problem.
My car has the following lights on:
Steering (Orange)
Engine (Orange)
ABS (Orange)
(!) (Red) (After 3 beeps and flashing)
I've had the car diagnosed and the errors that came up all pointed to the ABS (No communication)
I've had them fit a secondhand abs pump/module from Ebay (Said they tested it before taking it from the old car) and my car is coming up with the same errors
When I rang the place that provided the car part they said it MUST be working as they tested it before taking it from the car and will happily refund it as it as they know it was working and wouldn't sell faulty parts as it would be of no benefit and simply waste their time having to send it just to refund/relist it.
The garage say the've tested the fuses and all have power to them.
Any idea what the problem could be?
