no you didn't.
Pull it out and on the back are usually four bolts that go right through the case an d secure the big lump of concrete balance weight inside.
You'll know if your taking out the right ones if they're really long 5 or 6".
Oh and your not the first one to do this!
The 4 feet under the machine are adjustable, adjust them until the machine is equally sits squarely on all 4 feet.
place a spirit level on top of the machine
and level the machine by adjusting the four legs
If it were a car, which is what we talk about here, I'd say to balance the tires.
Get it set level.
