Why would your warranty cover new tires? Do you think everyone gets free tires because their car is under warranty? Have you ever met ANYONE who got that deal?
Did you read your warranty?
Tires are never covered by a manufacturers warranty as they are 'wearing items'. It's the same with clutch, brakes and exhaust systems. Read the small print in your warranty document to confirm.
So the car is 2 model years old. . . . . . seems to be enough time for you to take the trouble to look at the Owners Manual - instead of asking others to do your thinking for you.
ABSOLUTELY NOT! Tires are a wear item exactly like wiper blades and belts.
News Flash: New car companies do not install tires with the longest UTQG (wear rating) or batteries with the longest free replacement warranty. THAT'S A FACT!
My car gear does not select well. What could be the problem please. Any help.
