Need an ecm/pcm/ecu?

Take it somewhere else. Like the dealer. PCM is almost never bad. If it's not spitting out a code for a bad PCM, and the check engine light still works, it's not your PCM.

Most "mechanics" are parts changers, not experts. PCM's are an easy excuse for those who don't understand how to diagnose things. That is most mechanics. I've seen literally thousands of dollars over weeks spent at random parts by "mechanics" that the dealership fixed in a day after a basic diagnosis and a $60 part.

I would get a second opinion before spending the money for one. Keep in mind, it must be the identical part number to the one you have.

You can do your own searches on Ebay. Just sign up and go for it.

I have a 2002 chevy c1500 4.3L v6 vortec, my computer for the engine miles/gas ratio/performance. the guy at the auto shop said I need an ecm/pcm/ecu. Does anyone have any websites or ebay people that sell remanufactured ecm/pcm/ecu.
