Possible someone placed it there.
We run over nails all the time. I don't know where the heck they come from. People are so careless about things they carry on their vehicles, and things they left behind.
Just go to wal-mart and buy one of those tire plugger. They works. I fixed three tires with that already. Better use it with glue.
I noticed a small nail in the tread of my rear tire Saturday night and it hasn't lost any air. I'm taking it to discount tire Monday morning.
Sure, it's possible, but if so, the thing would have gone flat very quickly....
You will never know the answer to that.
the **** is a tyer
Went to go shopping today but got about 10 secs before the back of my car started making a noise. So I stopped and had a look. I noticed the flat tyer, so I went back home. Upon looking closer I found a nail in the middle to right side of the tred. It looks worn and scratched but not rusty as it been laying around on the road for ages. Anyway I've been looking on the internet and most times it's nails on the road which can't be help.
However I'm just wondering if someone placed a nail under my car so when I started to back out it go it. But then I thought the nail would roll flat so I don't know.
However if this did happen would it take 10 secs to deflate ? Like I said I hear the noise within 5 secs of driving away. Surely I would of got half way to my destination before going flat if it was leaking air.
