Not to be rude but the tire is deflating, not inflating. only reason I say anything about it is it might help to know if you do end up getting tire replaced or repaired. The tire might be repairable depending on the location and the damage. Damage in the sidewall (side of tire), a broken belt (large knot or bump either on tread or sidewall) or a large hole or gash can not be repaired most of the time. It will vary by shop if they want to do the repair or not,if they think it would not be safe they will not do it. Changing all the tires is rarely required but is best. Usually on all wheel drive cars they have to keep all the tires wearing the same. Putting a new tire on one of these that has older worn tires can cause drive train damage. If your car is front wheel drive then the tire sizes need to match or drive train damage may occur. If you must get a different size tire then be sure it is put on the back of the car. Rear wheel drives aren't real picky, but again the same size is best. Most tire shops can tell you what would be the next size that would be safest and bet for your car. Also you do not need to buy the same brand tire as the others on the car and tell them that you hit a curb so they can check the rim for cracks or other damage.
First inflate your tire full of air. Then Take some water mixed dish soap and pour it around the edge where the metal of the wheel meets with the rubber. Do this on both sides of the tire and watch for bubble appearing. If you see bubble the tires bead is probably junk so you need a new tire or the rim is bent.
English? Do you speak it? Ever heard of punctuation like periods?
And the word is DEFLATION. That's when air hisses OUT of the tire. Were you sick that day in 3rd grade?
If you hear air leaking out of your tire after hitting the curb, you've either damaged the rim or tire or both. Install the spare tire and take the damaged tire/rim to a tire store for inspection.
now that is some awesome tires right there. i seen tires deflate by themselves, but never have i ever seem a tire inflate by themselves.
I recently hit curb but I didn't think happened then a couple days later the I hear the tire inflating which what is happening right now. What should I do? The damage of the curb isn't bad, the scratch on the tire isn't big but I could hear the tire inflating. Can you fix the tire or do you have to buy new tires? If I buy a new tire do I have to also change the rest of the other tires as well?
