My son broke my neighbors car window. Would my auto insurance cover damages?

Nope.

That would POSSIBLY be covered under your home owners / renters insurance if at all.

However, with that being said, auto insurance or otherwise, the deductible would possibly be much more than the price of the window.

Good luck. Time to have your son mow some lawns!

nope not your car.. see if the neighbor has auto to cover it or home owners either way you are out a few hundred bucks..to reimburse the neighbor.besides it doesnt matter the window is less than the deductible most windows dont cost 500 bucks

Your car insurance will only cover damage to your car, or to something else when the damage was caused by your car.

Have a look at your home insurance, which might cover such damage.

No matter how you go about it you will have to pay, cant use your insurance and if your neighbour uses theirs (unless they lie) their insurance company will send you a bill for the cost of repairs. Just pay for the window to be fixed and make your son do some work around the house to pay you back.

Any auto glass shop will come in at almost 1/2 the price, shop around for best deal.

Do you know where I can have window replaced? I called the dealer and it's very pricey. It's a 2009 jeep liberty back window with heat censor or something like that.

look under glass companies most do automotive glass. also auto recyclers some also replace glass
