My question is, will it cause any damage to my car?, engine?, etc....I'm worried.?

I have a 2003 Ford Explorer SUV and uses regular unleaded (87), and today I accidentally put a super unleaded (91).

Your car is safe using an octane rating of up to 93; higher octanes are available 100 and up but that is for high compression engines. If you'd pumped in diesel with using the "green pump" then you'd have trouble. NO, a 91 you will see a little better umph at the throttle due to the higher rating. That's it.

No damage at all, it just cost a little more than you needed to spend.

You can damage an engine by running a lower octane than specified, but not the other way around.

It's fine. Only if your car is using 91 octane and you pumped in 87.

91 doesn't do anything for your car. It burns cleaner, but you paid extra money for that.

The higher the fuel octane, the knock sensor will not retard the ignition timing which costs mileage and rear wheel horsepower.

no damage at all, except for your wallet when you wasted $$ for the higher octane fuel

The only damage you did is to your wallet by paying more for gasoline then you had to.

It wont hurt anything but your wallet.
