NMost phones now have an indicator in them which changes colour if the phone gets wet. The reason for this is that the phone company will not replace it when damaged by water.
Try this - put the phone in a container completely surrounded by dry rice for at least one day and then try it again - this has worked many times for people.
they won't replace phones dropped in water - that is NOT covered by warranty
try to take the battery out and the phone and put it in a bowl of rice. About 3 years ago my phone went into the washer machine and the rice saved it but it did take about 3 days. But yours is more minor so try to put it in rice.
It fell in my dogs water bowl yesterday (just the top where the circuit board is)
Now it was acting funny, the screen would flash/lagg. I let it dry for a whole day.
Same problem today. I was ready to call Verizon and ask to replace it but now it seems fine. It would turn on and charge no problem just the screen would flash on and off.
Should I still go ahead and call em up and see jf I could get it replaced? I'd somethings wrong but it's fine now I don't want to have it come up again after my warranty expires.
