Could it be that I need a fuel pump, water pump, or is there sumthing wrong wit my head gasket.

You might have an issue with one of your accessories like the alternater, water pump, smog pump,ac compressor.Whining noises with a check engine light usually indicate possible bearing failure in one of your accessories.Autozone can scan your computer if you can get it to them.I would remove or release tension on the serpentine belt, free spin each pulley to see which accessory has failed.Depending on how your belt is run and whether its a needed accessory or not, sometimes you can buy a shorter belt which bypasses that pulley, but it depends on those things I listed above. For example, the smog pump is usually something that doesn't necessarily need to run in order for the engine to still function.Whichever pulley is seized up is the cause of shutting your engine down most likely. It probably seized to the point that the engine can't turn over.Sometimes the odor of a melted belt will be present because it has been trying to spin around the seized pulley. It should be really easy to find

Here's what you do.

1) Got to auto part store.

2) Buy tools.

3) Use said tools to build a time machine.

4) Get inside said time machine to go back to when your check engine light came on.

5) Check engine.

So what did you do when you first saw the check engine light. The light means get me checked out to find out what kind of problem you have. It does not mean just drive and ignore the light. It means that if you do not correct the vehicle will quit running

The problem is the nut that holds the steering wheel.
