My car won't start it's not the battery?

Sounds like it can be a starter fuse. Check the fuse panel underhood and check if it's still good.

The number one wiring mistake(s) is always where you connected the constant/memory positive (yellow), and/or switched positive wires (red) coming from your stereo. Constant gets connected directly to the battery for memory (yellow), and switched gets connected to the wire that the stock stereo was connected to (red), as it is switched (keys turned in the ignition) which is also connected to the fuse box under your dash.

Chances are you connected your stereo positive wires to another power source, which has caused a short, and/or possibly an open circuit.

If it's not a fuse, check your neutral safety switch harness and that it didn't come off.

Check all of your fuses in the engine and cabin panels. I hope it works out. I don't understand why people don't spring for the adapter cable so they don't end up in here asking what is wrong.

I drive a 1998 Mitsubishi 3000GT and after I wired my new stereo into the car, it won't start and I'm not hearing that familiar click before the you turn the key for the engine. I jumped the car and waited 15 minutes for it to charge and still nothing so I'm sure I messed it up with my bad wiring. Now I need to know what went wrong cause I don't have the slightest clue. The battery is only a month old. Any information that can help me get it running again will be greatly appreciated.
