The only ways to "fix" this problem of sluggish acceleration at higher speeds would be to shorten the final drive ratio AND modify the engine in such a way that it makes better power at RPM above ~5000 or to add something like a turbo or supercharger to boost midrange RPM power so that it accelerates harder once it shifts into the stock 3rd or 4th gears.
Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. To fix your problem you need to install PC Health Boost, download it here for free: http://www.pcboostcleaner.com
It's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate; it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.
Maybe its just a 4 cylinder car not designed to accelerate so quickly. A turbo kit is pretty much useless on that year of that motor.
I'm earning good money with this binary option signal sofrware ( http://forexsignal.kyma.info ) What I'm going to show you now might irritate old-fashioned traders who can't accept that a piece of software can outperform what they have learned through many years of trial and error
Drive in third not D.
1998 Chevrolet Cavalier 2.2l
Reaching third gear, the acceleration slows down immensely. This is caused because the computer was made to put the car in "cruise mode" in 3 gear+ . What can I do specifically so the computer will void this? Any aftermarket parts?
I do not need the description of my cars hp and power. I am aware of this. That is no reason for the change in speed this dramatic. Also no turbo kits for now.
Thanks.
