take your phone and wallet with you at work today , use a pack or just your pockets or ask if the boss will keep them in his desk for the day then look into getting it fixed
the last time I had this done it cost around $90 for labor and $30 to buy an ignition at a wreckers , not cheap but not too bad either and you get a new set of keys and perfectly working ignition
I'd suggest that you get a copy of the key made (so you can lock/unlock the doors and get in still) unless you have a spare. Just in case it decides to never come out. Then as soon as you can.. take it to a mechanic, May have to get that entire part replaced. I have heard this can be a problem especially if you keep your keychain kinda heavy/full. The key slot isn't ment to be able to hold a ton of weight on the key.
Im guessing your wheel is locked turn wheel all the way to left then right then try to turn key
Ignition cylinder is worn, & needs to be replaced. You can get a new one with a new key in E-Bay.
the alarm system got activated. that is why it will not release the key.

make sure its in park, mine will say its in park but wont let the key out of my ignition, but if i press up a lil but more i will hear a click and yea, if not that idk

It turns on, runs, and everything fine. Idk. I have to force it out, it just happened this morning when I left work and I just left it in there because I work nights so I didn't gove a sh*t and went to sleep. But I'm about to leave for work again and I can't get it out. I have to lock my phone and wallet at work so Idk.
