My 'low tire pressure' warning light on my mazda 6 won't turn off.?

Why of all the places to get information you have opted NOT to read the car manual NOR to call the Mazda dealership's service department? Well, what am I saying? You refuse to capitalize the name of the car company, Mazda. You refuse to read the warranty terms and in general, behave in an uninformed way as to this new car. Amazing. All that money spent on a car that you have not a clue how to find information. Double amazing. What everything else has told you has been either 100% incorrect or 25% correct. The car manual and the Mazda service department are 100% correct 100% of the time.

The warning lights usually come on for a short period when starting as a test. That could be what you are seeing.

Check the tire pressures in the morning before driving to make sure they are actually at the proper pressures. A tire that new should not be losing air unless you have a nail or something.

If it is a bad sensor, its part of the tire stem so its pretty cheap to replace. At any rate, if its a 2014, warranty should cover it.

Owners manual. Barring that? Pull the fuse for that sensor. Walk away for a few minutes. Put back. Resets system. Owners manual will tell you which fuse.

Here's a little trick,(not in any books) got to out think these people that want to steel your money over small things like this. Just remove your battery cable for about 5 min give's the computer time to reboot, thats it.. Get in it and have fun, See Ya

Did you read the owners manual? It should tell you how to reset the tire pressure monitor.

I think on some cars it has to be manually reset. read the owner manual to see.

also....check the,tire pressure

in your spare tire.

I was driving on the highway when I heard some loud beeping; I noticed my tire pressure light was on. When I checked, all of my tires were fine except for my rear drivers side tire. The recommended pressure for all four is 36 psi. The one low tire was at 25 psi; the point where the sensor trips. I stopped at a gas station and filled it up; but when I turn the car on, the pressure light still comes on and beeps a few times.

I doubt the sensor is bad; that would be a crazy coincidence for the sensor to go bad just as my tire actually drops below the warning limit. Any ideas...I don't really want to take it in to get it looked at and have to pay an exorbitant fee for something that's probably simple.
