Make sure you have good ground connections from battery terminals and starter. Have a friend turn the key while you bump the starter with a small hammer or rubber mallet

Find the starter..Google if ya gotta the starter is near the bottom on most makes...give it a couple of taps with a hammer.. if it starts you need it to be rebuilt if it doesn't you need a new one....(assuming your battery isnt it)

try park and neutral. if that works, replace the neutral safety switch.
