PS: When you say it won't crank I assume you mean the starter will not turn.
Does it click when you turn it over, or is it completely silent?
Does your key have a FOB? Is the battery in it good?
Does you Viper alarm have a kill switch?
Check for loose wires, especially battery posts, distribution block, engine block ground. Clean the battery posts with brush, and soak in water/baking soda. Afterwards wipe off and apply battery terminal protectant. (red spray).
I took it to the auto park store and they tested the starter. And the lights are very bright and don't dim.
You need to put 12 volts on the starter solenoud terminal for a second, and see if the starter turns the engine. If you have a manual transmission, make sure the trsnsmission is in neutral first. Auto trans needs to be in park. If it cranks, the wiring and the starter is ok. Yhen you need to check the neutral safety switch. It's on the clutch pedal if you have a manual trans, or on the shifter somewhere if yoy have an auto trans. Some cars actualky have a starter relay in the circuit, or a fuse. It would be under the hood in one of the fuseboxes.
It's not the starter because you had it tested how? It's not the battery as you had it tested how?
We have tried everything to get the Saturn started but nothing working. It's not the starter or the battery. We have lights and everything works just won't crank or start. We do have a vipor alarm in there so I am not sure if that has anything to do with it. Anyone please help!
Thanks!
