If that doesn't happen, take your crappy car to the dealer and have the ignition lock recall performed for free. Fixed.
It's best you find a mechanic that knows what they are doing.
sounds like a lot of guess work to me ! your better off to find a mechanic that knows what he,s talking about ! it cranks but won,t start ? they should be checking stuff like the fuel filter and spark at the plugs ! your just wasting your time at that garage !
LOL, sorry buddy. it just don't work that way. if you are unhappy with that mechanic then take your car else where.

I have a Chevy impala 05 3.4
I had it towed cause it wouldnt start. First they assumed it was the fuel pump. Then they found out it was a loose wire. Than the car wouldnt start again. So they though it was the yet pump again. Then they tested the car again & again & again& they finally figured out that it was the crankshaft sensor. Well they fixed it and they said it fired up. And I asked him literally more than 20 times if the crankshaft is for sure the only issue thats causing it not to start & he guaranteed me that everything else looked perfect &that the crankshaft was the only thing making it not start. So I go down to pick it up &the guy comes out to start it to drive it out of the shop & it wouldnt start than he tried again & it started so that right there worried me. But I didnt think anything of it. I go home shut the car off & went to go start it again to see if it would fire right up & it wouldnt. Did that 5 times & it still wouldnt fire up so I towed it back to the shop. & they said they'll fix it till it not only starts but runs to where it doesn't have issues. & they think it could be the ignition module. Since he guaranteed me a bunch of times that nothing else was causing the issue is he responsible to fix it for free even if it ends up being a different part? & I have a 12 month 12,000 miles warranty on the part he first replaced and labor. So does he have to fix it at no cost to me since he made the mistake and guaranteed me nothing else was wrong?
