Most likely causes: vacuum leak, clogged fuel filter, clogged fuel injector.
Your mechanic isn't doing you any favors by guessing. He needs to slap a scan tool on it and find EXACTLY why it's running lean.
St. was right, that code is not right. Autozone will also give you the general definition of the code on a receipt print out, good to list what that says. I am not sure about your mechanic, on an 11 year car, it is going to have some issues, so Seafoam and guessing is not what needs to be done here.

sounds like a cracked vacuum tube , run the engine and listen round the top for a faint hissing sound from one of the rubber tubes if you find one wrap insulating tape round it and you are good to go, NEVER wear a tie when working on an engine

Hi so about 2-3 weeks ago my engine light came on I go to my mechanic he tells me that the engine is running lean & not getting enough gas so what he did was he gave me a new filter and he put seafoam in the engine so I left the next day the light came back on so I couldn't get an appointment till like 2-3 days later he says well you need to fuel injector so you know get one of the bottles from the gas station put it in it should be okay I do that end up putting 3 in Over like a 2week span but my light still comes on& off and my mechanic said like about a week ago to make an appointment and just come back down but he's really busy so I can't get an appointment and I really am afraid to go anywhere else because I don't want to get cheated and he's only open Monday - Friday so now today I'm driving I go up the hill and it felt like I had a flat tire like the car was rumbling but it was struggling to get up the hill but it was weird because it was just like it sounded like I had a flat but I didn't like it was struggling with the tires to accelerate I'm confused because its only up hills I didn't go to AutoZone yesterday and they gave me this P07101 code said something about it could be a vacuum leak&he turned off the light but it came back on this morning so I don't know what's going on my question is what do you think this could be until I get to the mechanic Monday and do you think the car will break down because you know obviously have to work and get to the mechanic lol
