get a sock set up and then DIY
squeak, squeak,
Do not buy the car. The coil springs MUST have upper strut bearings or you wouldn't be able to turn the steering wheel. Without lower coil spring insulators in the lower A-frame pocket you will hear all kinds of squeaking and squawking. Lowering springs have a *higher stiffer spring rate than the stock ones that came in the car. It will ride like an unloaded hay wagon.
The spring rate is the number of pounds it takes to compress the coil one inch at the ride height of the car.
Dunno - but would wonder if that is why its for sale.
I'm thinking of buying this car from a guy who says his car is lowered, but the springs don't have the rubber pads in them. Can that cause mechanical issues? Just wondering before I waste my time with this car :)
