some have tried chiselling a head of a bolt applying heat and all sorts of things. so you might even have to remove that part of the car it is attached to like the front suspension leg and get it out on a bench to operate on it. where it could be drilled out. yes some drastic measures need to be used. and it can mean having to replace parts often car as some fool used a poor fitting spanner in the first place.
Hi on some cars the bolts are allen bolts and take an allen wrench to work them not a socket or wrench.

Tried to change the brakes of a car and one of the bolts holding the calipers is rounded. I loosened one bolt but the second one is rounded and my tools won't grip it. I tried bolt grips but it just won't work
