Just throw the stock one on there. NOTHING you can buy and put on that motor in terms of an "air intake" is going to be an upgrade. Throw the stock one on there, and be done with it. No one that knows anything about these setups, would ever think a "cold air intake" from an aftermarket company can work.

Let alone, if it DID work, how exactly are you planning to reprogram the ECM for the additional fuel it would need?

Edit: You assume wrong. Any modifications that affect airflow REQUIRE reprogramming. Tell me how a narrow band o2 sensor (NBO2) compensates for more airflow at WOT.

Aftermarket cold air intakes on fuel injected engines are worthless. You'll get almost no improvement in performance. If you want to rip off the throttle body and install a carb, then you can put on a cold air intake and see a difference.

You need to video when you clean your filter with soap and water. That would be entertaining. I worry about my engine's air quality too. And I thought I was the only one.

Hello, restoring a 92 Rs 305 TBI camaro and im having problems looking for a new intake, any websites (besides ebay) that sell intakes for tbi camaros? Id like a cold air intake right now theres a heart shaped edelbrock intake with a cheap "filter" thats cleaned with soap and water when needed. cheap crap and it doesnt even need to be oiled so ofcourse im worried my engine isnt getting very clean air, i dont wanna put a factory intake housing and air filter on it because why replace when u can upgrade?
