2 you may need to drain the fuel tank as it may have water in the fuel
3 remove the carburettor pot and check it's not blocked.
4 check the fuel pipe is clear and all are tightened.

1 if you left the mower full of gas all winter you need a new carb,,sorry the new 10 percent alc gas is bad
2 fresh gas
3 new spark plug..2 or 3 dollars
4 flush clean gas system
5 clean air filter
I assume you r taking the choke off after short warm up SHORT time less than 20 secounds
Every lawn mower I see that does not run is because the o-ring that the float needle goes into has swollen shut from ethanol in the gas. Take the carb off, pull the bowl, take out the float and needle and under the brass washer you'll find the o-ring.
What engine? Does it have low-oil shutdown? Is your oil low?
is the gas on?
