Kerosene is not easily confused with gas/diesel or mixed fuel. Your only option is to flush all the fuel lines flush the pump clean the filter and drop the gas tank and get rid of any fuel/kerosene mixed. You may get by with that option but your last ditch effort would be to have it towed to a mechanic and let them work on it however I will tell you up front its going to expensive. Good Luck

How much - (what dilution) if you realized you were pumping kerosen on a half empty tank and stopped at a gallon or two - fill up with the correct and you will probably be fine - it may not run great but well enough.

If you put 15 gallons in a tank that was down to 1/4 - drain and re-fill is about your only option - don't try to start it.

Don't you mean diesel ?

My grandpa did this before, if you didn't destroy the engine, drain and flush the tank, the lines, fuel injectors, everything.

If you're lucky, the engine simply stopped running, if it managed to stay running, you may have engine damage.

Good Luck

Don't run the car. Tow it and have a mechanic drain the fuel tank. Then it will be fine.

Remove the fuel filler pipe and siphon out the fuel tank in as many five gallon paint pails with covers as you need.
