No , it is not lowered. Just bigger rims with tires with that are only about an inch tall.

Hi Mark is right a new Passat with 20 inch rims as standard which is why when it hits a pot hole it smashes the tyre and rim and needs to be replaced which is expensive.

This Passat is definitely lowered, because there would be a huuuge gap between wheels and fenders, if you don't use the lowering system.
