Is the wheel bolt pattern all that is required to find rims for a car?

as long as I buy rims with the same bolt pattern and correct center bore, the rims will fit my car right?

You are almost right. One 5 bolt pattern may be different than another 5 bolt pattern. (Spacing of the bolt holes). Also i have found that the rim may not fit because of the size of the brake disc and the caliper.

No, the width and diameter matter as well.

You can by rims with the right bolt pattern, but they may not physically fit inside your guards with enough clearence.

NO. Go to the wheel section on: tireeack.com. Each brand of wheels that fit your car will have the *wheel center *width and back-spacing.

Rims need to be the proper offset too. http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/inde...

No. Offset and bolt diameter are also required.

wheel width and offset should be stamped on the inside of your wheel. if not measure it.

qidth is from bead surface to bead surface and offset is from flange to inner bead.
