Is replacing a brake master cylinder as easy as replacing a car battery nearly? (If didn't have to change brake flui

While many owners never give changing the brake fluid a thought, it's recommended every 3yrs. or so. And that's about right, 1.5 hrs. to change out a master cylinder and R&R the fluid.

Once you changed the master cylinder you have to bleed the system regardless of if you've changed the brake fluid at the same time. You must do each wheel in turn and it's usually a two person job; one ot pump the pedal one to turn the bleed nipple.

Explaine WHY you wouldn't change the fluid at the same time. That's like washing your feet and putting smelly socks back on.

Youtube has many videos showing the procedure. Basic tools and off ya go.

You have no validity, with the other crap you ask.

as far as I see ..the brake master cylinder just bolts into the brake booster? am I right? is it simple as unbolting it and bolting in a new one? or what else need to do? I know the TRICKY part is having to put new brake fluid in and not get air in the line..is this correct? is this actually more time consuming and hard to do than changing the master cylinder for brakes?

can explain? .5 hours for chaning brake master cylinder and 1 hour for changing brake fluid ?
