If your truck has a clutch slave cylinder check that first.
The other day I was driving my uncle around and I had maybe an extra 600-700 pounds in my truck and my clutch went half way in until I could shift and on my way home after getting rid of all that weight my clutch just went out and I was hitting the floor board and it was a ***** just to shift! The only way I could go was to turn off my truck put it in gear and take off
