Is my 02 sensors gone bad?

The P1351 and P1359 codes are for the ignition circuit pertaining to the distributor module and circuitry. I'd have that checked out by a Lincoln/Ford mechanic and after that's repaired they can monitor the 02 sensor voltages and switching times before condemning the front 02 sensors. There are no codes for the rear 02 senor or sensors.

Well first off there's usually 2x o2 sensors in a car and if the cars smells like it's burning a lot of gas it might be running rich which will hurt your fuel economy and sometimes power. So then you have to figure Out which one is the culprit a obd2 reader should tell you if it's before the catalyst or after.

Rather than throwing money at a problem, take the car to a Ford Dealership and ask them to read the fault codes when the check engine light is on. They are the only people who can read the codes and then know *exactly what is causing it.

I had a 97 Taurus. If it said all four o2 sensors went bad at the same time then it very easily could be something else. In my taurus it ended up being a vacuum leak that caused it. After finding the leak I replaced the hose and it was fine. It could be anything from a miss firing spark plug to a vacuum leak both can cause the air fuel ratio to go off which will ser off all ur o2 sensors at once

An o2 sensor has a target of .5V and a max of 1.0 V it switches above and below the target making changes to fuel pulse width in milla seconds of on and off time. In essence the o2 sensor is used for fuel management. With a scanner that has live data ability, you can monitor o2 voltage and injector pulse width. The faster it switches the better it manages fuel distribution and the better your vehicle will perform. If an o2 sensor is slow to switch or lazy, then it is time to change the sensor. If it stays at a fixed voltage, it has died and needs to be changed or a wire has broken or failed,

yes

i have a 1995 mercury grand marquis and check engine light is on. so i checked it its saying codes po133,po153,po1351,po1359 i checked it out and say o2 sensors for all four of them . is all four bad? it really runs good
