The vehicle may backfire, (small, limited explosion) may cause other problems for the exhaust system and possibly to the engine. Like a banana in the tailpipe, sugar in the gas tank, It definitely isn't recommended.
No don't do it, that's what the tank is for. It could do major damage to your exhaust system and the mixture of gasoline and exaust can be a pretty bad mixture.

No, it would not explode. It wouldn't do anything because the pipe wouldn't hold fuel, the fuel would run back out the end. Besides, even if it did, there's a few things you're missing.
Gasoline isn't explosive, it's flammable. That means it doesn't blow up, it burns.
Liquid gasoline isn't that flammable...If you pour it over a small open flame it will put the flame out, not ignite. The vapors are what's most flammable.
The exhaust at the tailpipe isn't hot enough to ignite the vapors.
The exhaust pressure at the tailpipe would just push the gas out the tailpipe and onto the ground.
