Is curb damage fixable? if it is how much could it be?

Why do some people rely on Yahoo Answers for things that are only a phone call away to the right people. Call your insurance company. Why rely on random peoples answers when you eventually have to call the insurance company and tell them. They will take it from there with the RIGHT answers. Some people here are from different states with different laws.

You say you have full coverage so the only thing it will cost you is your deductible. And maybe some more money for your renewal.

Almost anything is fixable.. I think in this case just mentioning the subframe is bent and the tire knocked back means serious damage. Start looking for a new car considering the age of the car the insurance company may total it..

Just guessing at the damage in my mind as you described it would suggest it's totaled for an 01 civic value.

You may want to get a private appraisal and look up the blue book on it before telling your insurance agent.

no. an 01 will be totaled by ins co for bent frame.

I wouldn,t buy it from ins co considering age & damage; hi risk of being unsafe.

I have a 01 honda civic & one night I accidentally was going 30 I was trying to turn but it was to late so I smashed on the brakes & hit the curb bad, I don't have pictures but the subframe was bent back the whole front bumper of the car was hanging off & the wheel looked pushed back a little right now its undrivable because everything is dragging. Do you think it's fixable? How much you think it will turn out to be? I also have full coverage but by my dealership if you can help thank you.
