Is an coolant hose just another term for a raidiator hose?

There is usually many "coolant hoses" on an Engine. upper radiator hose, lower radiator hose water pump bypass hose heater core inlet hose, heater core outlet hose, possibly depending on manufacture coolant hoses to throttle body, water manifold on some V blocks. ask the guy to be more specific.

THE ONLY DUMB QUESTION IS THE ONE WE DIDN'T ASK.

Yes, the same, even though your butchering of the English is very confusing.

Radiator hoses, heater hoses, and sometimes interconnection (sometimes called "crossover") hoses. If some are getting soft it is wise to replace all of them now. A hose failure can cause serious overheating and nasty engine damage.

same

My mechanic recently said on my record summary that he recommends new "coolant hoses" now i do know some.basic maintenance on a car, after doing some research raidiator hose keeps popping up, i just want to make sure that are they the same thing or two totally different parts of the cooling system. My raidiator hoses are a little flimsy and soft and i.will replace but is the problem the mechanics is speaking of or something completely different?
