$200 sounds kind of cheap to me but that is a little POS. Vehicle glass has to meet certain requirements. You can look at the stamp on the class to see if it is complaint.

There's nothing wrong with the mobile replacements or any glass shop that specializes in windshields.

Windshields have to meet DOT requirements - no worries - call around and see if you can find a lower price but 200 isn't bad.

No it isn't a scam. The prices vary and if I remember correctly mine cost over 200 dollars.

I paid almost that much for a side window. That's cheap.

I have a 2011 scion and I called this shop that my mom got her windshield replaced from and they quoted me for $195... for $195 a guy will drive to my house and replace my windshield. Seriously?!

My mom got hers replaced for $175 and it's been over six months since she got it replaced without any issues.

My only worry is, will the glass shatter in my face if a fly lands on it while I'm driving on the highway? Should I get it replaced by this shop?
