I changed relays, and ect sensor, with no success.any suggestions?

Then what I did, because it was a long weekend and no store is open(of course) is scrounged up a toggle switch and drilled a hole in the lower part of the dash and ran 2 wires off the toggle. Both wires ran through the firewall into engine compartment. One wire is connected to what I assumed was the hot wire(usually red) and I cut it to separate it from the other source. And the end that went to the fan I wired up to the toggle wire. Now the other wire I hook up directly to battery clamp (+) because you never know when that power leak will quit. The battery is always good. Now the interrupter is you. You can hear the fan run and you can shut it off.

. So the only thing you have to do is watch the temperature gauge ...when it is above 3/4 high you turn on the fan. This is most likely to happen in traffic jams or when cruisin up long hills on a hot day. Otherwise the fan is not needed.

I had the toggle switch from a stereo connection or something like that and I had wire and I had matches to burn off the plastic coating on the wire and I had wire nippers. It is fiddley work but once done it worked. Don't care where the problem was.

Fan runs independent of the fuse box or relays that I could find. The relay would be on the radiator or on the head.

the thermo switch on the radiator has shorted out

Make sure that the A/C circuit is not activated.

your fuse block is internally shorted.

Doesnt have a thermoswitch duh!! I mentioned i changed the ECT!! As far as the a/c circuit being on, i went as far as to pull the a/c relays & fuses.Fan is still blowing...

I changed relays, and ect sensor, with no success.any suggestions?
