I messed up the repainting of my chipped car paint. What do I do?

You have to sand it for an even surface (also to let the paint stick) whether plaster required or not and apply paint multiple times as layers. You have to let each layer of spray to dry first then apply the next layer/coat of spray. Repeat the process. But unfortunately, even after a successful paint job, you still need to polish the paint area, otherwise it will not give a perfect finishing.

Get some lip gloss and put it on the chipped area as a temporary fix until you can paint it properly.

Take it to a paint shop and they will explain what is happening.

Leasing sucks

At this point to fix it right it would need to be sanded down and sprayed by a professional.

I had a small chip about .5 inch chipped paint on my front bumper. I bought the DIY kit to try to conceal it but the surface is very uneven and the area gets bigger and bigger every time I tried to fix it. The car is new and I'm scared shitless. What do I do now?

P.S. Also, my car is leased. Am I not supposed to do something like this?
