Technically it's not illegal to 'have'. IE there's no specific law forbidding it being fitted to the car, BUT, use it on the public road (& that includes Maccy Ds car park) and you'll get a dig from Plod, who will see you as a ripe boy racer target and will rip your car apart for the least little thing.

UK has blue for emergency vehicles, Green for emergency doctors and red only displayed on the rear of a vehicle.

You are getting a bit short of colours now.

Even switched off it is illegal to have it in Blue, green or red.

You can have amber or white but not used on the road.

It is a big stop me sign on your car.

Hello

Yes it is illegal, You have used the magic Blue Light words. It is illegal for anyone apart from emergency services vehicles to even have them fitted whilst on the Public Highway. You can have another colour and change the lenses when you are on Private Property (for show use for example)

I expect it is illegal, there are lots of regulations for car lights. Go to the government websites to find out the information, for instance:

This has come up before. Yes it is illegal, and nothing will get you 'pulled' quicker.
