I just hit a Pigeon on the M1 and now I have a load of feathers in my radiator and fan. Will my engine catch on fire?

Fire is unlikely but you should clean all the bird parts out as best you can, so that the fan can move cooling air properly and the radiator can disperse as much heat as necessary. You should watch the engine temperature gauge like a hawk (not a pigeon!) until the cleanout has been done. DO NOT continue to drive an overheating engine (which may happen with the feathers stuck in there), because overheating seriously shortens engine life.

The car wont catch fire go to a car wash and power spray the front of the car off

Lucky you did not burst the radiator. You should be OK but best to clear in out as soon as you can.

Hi it will no? catch fire it might produce cooked pidgeon eggs. so it becomes a rubber glove job at some stage.

No it won't. I live in a rural area and have hit quite a number of Pheasants [stupid birds] without any problem.
