I'm a college student btw, and she's a 2000 4D Chevy Cavalier, and mind you, I know absolutely NOTHING about cars.! PLEASE HELP!

Congratulations. Make sure you check all fluids. Make sure there always fluid in there to. Make sure you have good tire tread, so your safe in the snow and rain. Every 3kiles get an oil change. Never let your has go on E. I always fill up when it's a quarter or half way left. And just drive safe!

Oil!

Most people forget to change their oil. You can go to a mechanic or change it yourself by looking in the user manual for the oil type.

do you have the owners manual? look I the glove box for it, if you have it (most likely it is there) then read it completely, it will tell you exactly what, when, how much, what type things to do at what mileage to do them in, if you cannot find the owners manual then look up the manual for it on the internet, download it and save so you will have it for when you need!

?Tire wear & tire pressure (rotate and balance every five thousand miles).

?Oil level (change oil and oil filter every three thousand miles).

?Radiator fluid level

?Power steering fluid level

?Brake fluid level

?Coolant/anti-freeze level

?Windshield washer fluid level
