15,000 miles is a lot of miles to go and not properly maintain your vehicle. I am sure if you check the owners manual the oil and filter were scheduled to be changed well before 15,000 miles.

Good Luck!

Probably no permanent damage done yet. But first chance you get, change the oil and filter. The filter should be changed every time the oil is changed. If not, you are leaving a half a quart of dirty oil in the engine. An oil filter left without changing for a long period can become clogged and stop filtering the oil or stop the flow of oil, which are both bad things.

This is a CRANK question, RIGHT! What kind of car is this? If you are using the BEST synthetic oils than this is OKAY! Otherwise you will have A TOTAL SLUDGE BALL with baked in TAR in front of you! GOOD LUCK!!

Get your owners manual and see what it recommends. But most cars have no problem lasting that long and it's likely to be totally fine.

It's OK if you don't give a damn about your vehicle and won't mind walking when the motor locks up! Do your oil and filter changes every 3,000 miles!

No I agree with the first answer

modern cars can go 12000 miles between oil changes and some oil filters are 24 or even 36000 miles with long life oil you can go 36000 miles between oil and filter changes 36-42000 miles before you need to change the plugs

Not really.

no really should change oil and oil filter every 5000km

I have not changed the oil filter in my car for over 15000km, is it OK?
