What could possibly be causing a clicking sound:

1- Worn U-Joint(s).

2- Loose hub cap.

3- Loose lug nuts.

4- Loose exhaust components.

5- A nail in a tire.

6- A bad/worn bearing at any of the four wheels.

7- Loose or worn brake components.

8- Out of balance/worn tires.

9- Speedometer cable needing lubrication.

10- Something else.

Like Ben said, take it to a mechanic.

If they just replaced the differential, it could be an outer bearing in the axle or the brake. It could be a bad rear u-joint.

Could be anything from loose lug nuts to worn sway bar links.. time for a mechanic

Pull the darn Gerbil out of your rear end and lets get on with automotive questions shall we?!!!

Ok first of all my rear end went bad it was clunking and making clicking noises on turns slowly or braking slowly when I was getting the rear end re done everything was clean no metal shavings or chipped gears but I got it changed out anyway and put a 342 posi in it the clunking stopped completely and rides good but I still have that clicking noise when turning slow and coming to a slow stop the noise is coming from my tire area not the differential please no lazy answers saying take it back on warranty cause they did it right or it would still be clunking I just wanna know what could be causeing it to still make the clicking noises even after a whole new differential swap my transmission is bad if that could be a cause but I have a new one getting installed next week and my whole suspension is shot never got around to rebuilding suspension yet just need some ideas of what could be causing the clicking noise just need someone who knows about this kind of stuff or if anyone had the same problem before please be imformative
